At the African Marine Conservation Organization, we believe that the health of our oceans is inseparable from the well-being of the communities that depend on them. Our full-time positions offer more than just a career; they provide a platform to engage in transformative work at the intersection of scientific research, community empowerment, and environmental justice.

The volunteer contracts offered by AMCO are generally contracts of at least 6 months, through which young professionals who have just completed their studies and/or are in the process of completing them and are able to make themselves available for a minimum of 20 hours/week to commit to our work.

AMCO welcomes academic or professional internships for people wishing to benefit from experience within a host structure for a period of 2 to 6 months.

Our capacity depends on the number of interns already on board, the funding available to host them, and the organization's ongoing projects. You can submit a speculative application detailing your request and specifying the topic or project you would like to work on. AMCO will analyze the feasibility of your request.
